With the recent spammers attacking the myspace comment area, myspace was forced to start using a service which counts the in/out hits of links embedded in comments. This way, they can track the nasty spammers and block them, which seems to make a lot of sense. People selling whatever crap they are selling are now stopped, people’s profile will clean up and less phishing and other dangers will occur.
I hear a lot of people using the comments to “legitimately” send comments complaining, but they are the ones to blaim! Sending comments in large quantities is spamming, no matter if it’s a glitter image or a ringtone ad. So keep in mind to stop doing nasty stuff, be nice and keep it fair.

So MySpace is a web 2.0 social network, where people (mostly teenagers) meet eachother. They can send messages to eachother, talk about their life and meet online.
Everyone on myspace has his/her own profile, they decorate their profile with graphics and flash stuff. You can download pre-made layouts and put them on your profile, to make it unique and reflect your personality.
